Privacy Notice
Privacy is a trust signal. This page sets out exactly what we collect, why, how long we hold it, and the rights you have over it.
This notice applies to anyone whose personal data Meyerize processes — most often, prospective clients we meet at trade events, people who contact us by email, and organizations we work with on engagements. It is written to satisfy both the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (Singapore) and the Personal Data Protection Act 2019 (Thailand).
1.Who we are
Meyerize Co., Ltd. is a consulting and optimization firm registered in Thailand, with its principal office in Bangkok. For the purposes of the Singapore PDPA and the Thailand PDPA, Meyerize Co., Ltd. is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.
2.What information we collect
We collect only the personal data we need to do our work. In practice, that means:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Company and role or job title
- Country
- Areas of business interest you have told us about
- Internal notes our team makes to triage and follow up on your enquiry
- A record of the consent you have given us, and when
We do not collect special categories of data — such as health, religion, political views, or biometric data — and we do not ask for them.
3.Why we collect it
We use your personal data for a small, defined set of purposes:
- To respond to your enquiry
- To follow up about Meyerize services directly relevant to what you discussed with us
- To send occasional service updates that relate to your stated areas of interest
- To deliver the services you have engaged us for, where an engagement begins
- To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations in Thailand and Singapore
We do not use your data for anything else without asking you first.
4.Lawful basis
Both the Singapore PDPA and the Thailand PDPA require us to be clear about the legal basis on which we process your data. Each purpose above maps as follows:

If we ever rely on a different basis for a particular activity, we will tell you at the point we collect that data.
5.How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only as long as it is needed for the purposes above. In practice, that means 24 months from the date of collection, after which the data is purged or anonymized — unless an active engagement extends the relationship, in which case retention is tied to that engagement and reviewed at its close.
Data we hold to meet legal obligations — accounting records, for example — is kept for the periods required by Thai and Singapore law.
6.Who has access to it
Your data is accessed only by Meyerize personnel authorized by the data controller, on a need-to-know basis. All such personnel are bound by confidentiality.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Where we use a third-party service provider to support our operations — for example, email infrastructure — that provider acts on our instructions, processes your data only for the purposes we set, and is bound by appropriate confidentiality and data protection terms.
7.International transfers
Meyerize is registered in Thailand. Where we collect personal data in Singapore — for example, at trade events such as The Business Show Asia — that data is transferred to and stored in Thailand for processing by the data controller. Both jurisdictions operate substantially similar PDPA frameworks, and we apply the same protection standards to your data in either location.
We do not transfer your data outside Thailand or Singapore unless it is necessary to deliver a service you have specifically requested. If that becomes necessary, we will tell you in advance and ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
8.Your rights
Under the PDPA frameworks in Singapore and Thailand, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct anything that is inaccurate or out of date
- Request that we delete your data, where we have no lawful reason to keep it
- Withdraw any consent you have given us
- Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable form, where applicable
- Object to certain types of processing
- Lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority — the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore (PDPC Singapore) or the Personal Data Protection Committee of Thailand (PDPC Thailand)
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@meyerize.co. We will respond within the timeframes set by the relevant PDPA — typically within 30 days.
Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing we carried out while consent was in place. It may, however, mean that we can no longer follow up with you in the ways you previously agreed to.
9.Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, and unauthorized disclosure. These measures are reviewed periodically and updated as our operations evolve.
10.Data breach notification
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in significant harm to the individuals affected, or that otherwise meets the notification thresholds set by Singapore or Thailand law, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority and the affected individuals within the timeframes required — within 72 hours of becoming aware under Thailand law, or within 3 calendar days at threshold under Singapore law.
11.No automated decision-making
Meyerize does not make decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you by solely automated means. Where automation supports our work, a person remains accountable for the decision.
12.Children’s data
Meyerize provides services to organizations, not to individuals as consumers, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor’s data has reached us, email contact@meyerize.co and we will delete it.
13.Cookies and website tracking
As of the effective date of this notice, meyerize.co does not set cookies, run analytics, or use tracking pixels to monitor visitor behavior. If that changes, we will update this notice and — where required — ask for your consent before any non-essential tracking begins.
14.Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time as our practices evolve or as the law changes. The effective date and version below show when the current version took effect. Material changes will be flagged clearly; minor edits, such as wording improvements, may be made without a separate announcement.
